At 300 pounds, from Colorado had so many medical problems that she could hardly keep track of her medication. She was taking pills for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, back pain, and 3 – not 1, but 3 – antidepressants, and she was still depressed! Her doctor recommended a few weight loss programs, but decided she would use the diet she once used in high school when she needed to drop 20 pounds to get in a prom dress. That diet was the "800 Calories a Day Diet." You and I both know how little 800 calories is, and for a 300-pound woman, it`s starvation! That`s what did.

She read every book that talked about portions. She read every label on every product she planned to buy. She measured all her foods very carefully and never once did she cheat. She began walking in the neighborhood at 5:00 AM when the streets were silent. In 7 months, was down to 200 pounds. Her walks led to jogs, and her jogs led to runs. stopped taking her antidepressant medication, and her blood pressure and cholesterol dropped into the normal range!

The whole while she was losing weight rapidly, never told her family and friends how she was dropping the pounds, but they found out when suffered a mild heart attack! Not only did her heart suffer, was malnourished.

She went into therapy for a few months and finally figured out something I`ve told you before. Compulsions don`t die forever. They sometimes are reincarnated into another compulsion! went from compulsive overeating to compulsive under eating and exercising.

I went through what just went through, and maybe you did, too. By the way, is feeling much better and is on her way to recovery! She`s now eating 1800 calories a day and feeling fine!

If you are eating less calories than your body demands, you could get sick… very sick. Do you know exactly how many calories you should be eating? Check your FoodMover instructional manual.
