I'm so happy for you that your son wants to renew the relationship. It is hard when you have had a child taken away. The authorities threatened me when I was a single mom and I was strugglig with my illness. Thank God I didn't lose them. Their dad didn't care what happened to them and was more than happy to leave them with me. It all worked out okay though as my current husband adopted all three children 10 years ago when we got married. I'm sorry you have had to go through all this. Children make their own choices when they grow up and this sounds like a good beginning for you and your son.

My 17 yo son called me last night! I have not seen him in 4 years (haven't talked to in 3 months). To make a long story short my ex took him and his brother away from me 4 years ago and brain washed them. So I haven't seen them in a long time. Then my ex made them move out of state (TX) with relatives without him. He has at last come to realize all the stuff they say about me is wrong! Last time I talked to him he said never to call him again! Last night he got his first cell phone and called me! He didn't want me not to call, the Aunt he lives with made him say it! He has already ran away once trying to get home to me. They caught him with the help of the police! He is planning it again. Although I hate him thinking he has to do it, I wish I could get him back! I can't afford to go to TX to file the custody papers! And an attorney won't even see us for less than $3000 which we don't have. He says he has to get out of there, they have started treating him really shabby, since he realized how wrong they are about me, that it borders on abuse. He is going to see if he can get emancipated, so he can come home.

I am so jazzed I texted and talked to my son all day!

Ok so for today I came in at 1224 cal. I cleaned the LR. Straightened up the kitchen. I did 3 loads of wash. (half a load is currently all over the living room DS2 wanted to help) I made a sumptuous(sp?) dinner. AND tonight the kids and I are having a candlelight bath! Blessed be,
