Guest guest
Hi there friends, I think my husband is having trouble with the fact that he is turning 40 today. I don't know what to do. He seemed so down this morning when I took him to work. I had told him that I would take him out to eat for dinner tonight and he can chose the place. He just said, "I don't know if I even want to go out." That is so not like him. He loves to go out to eat. I want to help him, but I don't know how. It makes me sad when I see him so down. This is his birthday we should be celebrating his life and this should be a happy occasion. You know what I mean? How do I change this? I hope when he gets off work he will be in a better mood. I so want to make this a special day for him. from MO.
Guest guest
-- Don't know if this will help or not. But it is something that helps me keep things in prespective. I wasn't too uptight about celebrating my 40th birthday simply because my husband's grandmother celebrated her 90th three days later. I figured if she could handle 90 with humor, laugther, dignity & fun -- then I had no reason to complain about 40! (By the way I celebrated my 46th birthday this year -- and she celebrated her 96th.) <6@...> wrote: Hi there friends, I think my husband is having trouble with the fact that he is turning 40 today.
