TELL ME WHEN?

Every single day, I sit at my desk and answer emails and make my calls to those people who are lost when it comes to losing weight. The Americans who try to drop pounds are more easily sold on the food part, but are not easily sold on the exercise component of the plan. Most Americans do not exercise regularly, and that`s the biggest reason why most people have not lost the weight they need to lose.

I called 2 ladies yesterday who told me they didn`t have time to exercise with their busy schedules. They then proceeded to tell me what they did from the time they got up to the time they went to bed. I then proceeded to ask them some questions. "Do you watch TV at night or make phone calls or stare at the computer screen or …." Well, as you know, there`s a lot of "ors"! They both admitted they got the point and promised they would start working out.

I also chatted with Roxanne from New York who I had a previous conversation with about 4 months ago. Back then, she told me her schedule was filled, too. She told me what she had to do each day, and then I asked her the same questions as the ladies from yesterday. You know, when I give suggestions to people, I never know if they`re going to use them or not, but Roxanne did!

She shaved some time that she spent watching TV after dinner. She shaved a few minutes off her sleep. She shaved a few minutes on the computer, and with all that new found time, Roxanne began to exercise! Sometimes she`d walk. Other times she would do aerobics in the comfort of her den. Roxanne also treated herself and her muscles to a set of dumbbells… pink dumbbells! So far, she`s lost 22 pounds, and it`s been 10 years since she lost that much weight!

If you have not been successful at making time for your workouts, maybe you should look at your schedule and start shaving some time for you to shake your groove thing!

Love,
