She was at her all time high of 250 pounds. We have corresponded these 2 years, and has worked hard to lose 100 pounds! Every couple of months, would send me updated pictures of herself, and I could not believe the transformation! told me that one day, she would come to Los Angeles and take some classes at Slimmons. And you know what? saved her money and is here in LA now! She came to class, and oh, how beautiful she looked! And in class, she knew every single move! I spent a few moments with her after class, and she handed me a letter with a roll of 5-flavor Lifesavers taped on the top and wrapped with a red ribbon. "My son, ie, gave me this to give you. He told me I couldn`t read it, so I don`t know what it says." When I got home, I opened the envelope from ie. Dear , My mom was so obese that I had to tie her own shoes for her. You know how bad that made me feel. Almost every day, she was depressed and tired over her weight. Soon she didn`t want to do anything at all, except eat and sleep. She didn`t even want to go outside most times. She was so embarrassed about herself. Now my mom is a totally different person! She ties her own shoes. She goes to football practice with us. Also, she walks around the track almost every day, and that`s about 2 miles. She looks and feels and acts so different! All I am trying to tell you is that you are a lifesaver! Thank you." And in the letter was a picture of ie. In his hands was a big cartoon of me that he drew, and it said, " Loves Everyone!" After using a half a box of Kleenex, I was pretty well drained. You know I get a lot of letters, but none quite like this one. Don`t think your children aren`t worried about you if you`re overweight, because they are! Tell your kids that you are strong and that you are a fighter, and you`re gonna fight hard to get this extra weight off… just like did! Thank you, ie, for a letter that truly touched my heart.
