Guest guest
Well, what do you do when one doctor tells you one thing and another tells you something different. The other day I took some blood test for my OB/GYN and some of the results are back. I got a call from my family doctor that my blood test came back that my cholesteral (sp?) was 217 and he wanted to put my on Lipator. I don't know why he got the results of my blood test in the first place. I called my OB/GYN's office and they too had gotten those results, but they said for now not to take any meds for cholesteral. They think it can be managed by diet and exercise. Then take the test again in 6 months. They told me to wait to start taking any meds like that until I talked with them after they get the rest of my blood test back next week some time. They said it wouldn't hurt to wait. So who do you listen too? Your family doctor (whom the test weren't meant for in the first place) or your OB/GYN who were the ones who had the test taken? They said that 217 was high, but not extremely high. from MO.
