Guest guest
I have been thinking alot here lately about my weight loss. I have lost almost 50 pounds but this past week I gained 2.25 pounds and Im not happy about it but Im not going to give up either. But I have been thinking. When I lost weight back in 2002 I was counting calories and working out every night. Well this time Im taking Adipex and watching what I eat. But Im thinking about taking the Adipex, counting calories and working out everyday again. Cuz If Im doing this good with just the Adipex and watching what I eat just think how much better I would be doing if I was counting calories again. Everyones input would be good. How many calories should I start out with and everything like that. Please help everyone. Tina
Guest guest
I feel exactly the same way. My birthday was Tuesday and what did i get from my dear hubby- A cake with 4 different flavors. I had been doing good and was bound and determined to stay on track. I passed that cake up and guess what--I lost over 4 lbs this week! I did finally eat a small piece after I wieghed in on Thursday but I threw the rest out after that! Life is too short to let it pass by us! Keep walking and setting goals!! You can do it! > > Hi, It's a beautiful day here in WV. I went for a walk. Yea! About a mile. That's a big deal for me. Awhile back I couldn't do it. I had a blood clot in my lung in December and it took awhile to recover. Anyway, I had time to think while walking. I'm always waiting...waiting for no holidays, no birthday dinners, no special occasions, no trips to eat out. I have to change my lifestyle and learn to stay on plan through those things. Just into this a couple days and here comes Easter. I think I'll plan a nice meal, try to stick to it and get on with living. There's got to be more to my life than food. Have a great weekend everyone. >

Yes, indeed: there will always be something. Unfortunately, we are a social people and revolve around eating too. We got a ham and some potatoes for Easter dinner. Pretty typical. I might skip the potatoes and double up on the veggies. The sodium in the ham could do me in, but I know not to let the number on the scale wreck my mood. That, or just stay off it for a few days.
