Guest guest
's Daily Message Thursday September 14, 2006 GO JAMIE, GO! Once upon a time, there was a little girl born in South Carolina, and her name was , and what a beautiful baby she was! She was blessed to have a wonderful family who loved her so much. Many people in her family were overweight, and they taught how to be overweight, too, and they did it in the name of love. began loving the taste of food – greasy, salty, fattening food – and began gaining weight… 150, 190, 230, 260, 280, 300, 330. She was in pain, but not enough pain to change her lifestyle. And there was another member of her family that didn`t want to change his lifestyle, either. When her father died at 450 pounds, on his death certificate it said " morbid obesity. " thought if this could happen to her father, it could happen to her. Out of this sorrow, made her mind up that she wasn`t going to gain more weight and die the way her father did. On February 19, I got to speak to . You see, she wrote me a letter about all she had been through, and she wanted to tell me her exciting news. Through a lot of hard work, had lost 115 pounds! You could hear the excitement in her southern belle voice. She said to me, " I made the time to eat fattening food. Now I make the time to eat healthy foods. " Well, like I said, that was back in February. I recently got an email from that read, " It has been 14 months now, and I am so glad to be healthier than ever before. I have lost more weight than I now weigh! I started at 330. I`ve lost 170 and now weigh 160! I am wearing a size 10 in blue jeans! Before, I was wearing a very tight 28, and they weren`t blue jeans. " You should see her before and after photos! In her before photo, she was sitting in a chair under a tree, looking so very uncomfortable. And in her after photo, is standing straight and looking so beautiful and so proud! Now is helping others to find their way and get the weight off by eating healthy and exercising, and is conducting a weight loss support group at her church. Congratulations, ! Continue to spread the word, sweet lady! When will you share your success story with me? Love,
