I'm sure it will be a big relief to have the first taping over with, but then I have another one in two weeks! It's a weekly tv show for the next three months, more if I resign with the tv station, so I will be doing tapings every month. But in a year, I'll have 52 workouts to put on DVD's! LOL What have I gotten myself into????? Guest guest
I want to start checking in every Sunday night and to use the opportunity to be honest about where I am and set my intentions for the coming week. I'm hoping it will help me be accountable. Weight = 240.8 lb Waist = 39 Hips = 51 Bust = 39.5 Arm = 13.5 Thigh = 29 Calf = 16.5 My exercise goal for this will is to make it to the gym three times this week and to continue taking the stairs at work and parking in the last space in the parking lot. I don't need to plan which days or what my workout will be. For now, it's simply to go three times this week. My reward for doing this will be a t-shirt from Old Navy. It's also my intention to write down what I eat every day and to get at least 8 hours of sleep each night - especially Sunday - Wednesday when I find it hard to go to bed early. Another issue I've really noticed lately is that I'm being extra judgmental and gossiping. I'm often aware of when I'm doing it and don't stop. My intention is to stop once I'm aware of it and not to justify why it's okay "just this once". I don't want to put out such negativity. My reward for this will be hand soap at Bath & Body Works. Spiritually, I'm going to pay attention to my bookends, which is connecting with God at the beginning and end of each day. YV, Miene See the all-new, redesigned .com. Check it out. Guest guest
My rewards helps me two-fold. I could easily be a compulsive shopper especially when I put the food down. This way it limits my spending too. Normally, I'd buy all the stuff while stopping by Starbucks and eating out. Tsk-Tsk. Actually, I am going to Starbucks tonight. I saw all the post on it and thought I'd fess up. It's planned into my food for today so I'm alright. I like a fat free chai but it's not sugar free. I saw someone say they request sugar free syrups. I'm going to ask if they have a sugar free chai. The one I use at home is sugar free. Now I'm just rambling. Hope everyone has a good night. I like the goals and rewards Miene - I do that too periodically - need to get more consistent and write them out! I did get a new t-shirt this past weekend for sticking to my meal plan for the week - it says "where's my sugar daddy" (like the candy)... but my b/f lets me call him my sugar daddy, so in a way it is a play on that - LOL!! Guest guest
You know what? I forgot to ask for sugar free. D'oh! I had my usual...a fat free chai. Guest guest
<<<Tomorrow, well, my younger daughter's boyfriend is trying to get in good with me by giving me a book on Punk Rock Aerobics, complete with suggested songs and pictures of moves. (And yes, he succeeded. You can't tell now, but there was a point in my life where I was an out and out punk, mohawk, slashed clothes, spike bracelets and all. A ten year point, from 77 to 87, actually.) I shall break out the Ramones and party!>>> I'm with you - I love this book ( when I can steal it away from my 17 yo son! I bought it and he steals it! lol!). I wish PRA would put out a workout DVD. Anny in Australia
Guest guest
Hi Anne, Great week! Thursday must have been the day for things to crash - our internet went down at work for the entire afternoon - I telecommute on Thursday's and the only way I can get into the system is through the internet - as a result, Ihad a pretty easy day on Thursday but a very bad Friday to make up for it! Ahh..the '80's and punk! LOL! Donna --- Anne Langston <annemargo@...> wrote: > I think it's becoming a bi-weekly checkup, so I'll > try to be better about this!
