Guest guest
>What is > think about weighing is it once a week or what? I really have no idea what his opinion is on this any more. He used to say weigh daily, because then you can see right away if pounds are creeping up, then he would say to weigh one a week, because weighing daily drives you crazy. Over the past 20+ years he's gone back and forth, so right now I don't know where he stands. Do what's best for *you*. If you can manage to avoid the scale, then once a week should be plenty, once a month would be ideal. Remember, as a woman you're going to have all kinds of weight fluctuations depending on the time of day, the time of the month. But remember that he numbers on a scale mean nothing to anybody but you. It's more important to go by how you feel - Can you walk longer distances? Are your clothes fitting looser? Can you carry a load of laundry up the stairs without feeling you're about to collapse half-way up? If you're diabetic, are your blood sugar numbers in a good range? If you have high blood pressure, are your readings in the normal range? All of these are more important than what the scale says. Guest guest
, lots are doing Food Movers but I'm not. I think there's a diversity of food plans. I sure love this group for the practical advice. I joined a few groups to see what would work for me and this is the one I've kept. I think the folks and post here are positive and useful. What plan are you thinking about? What's the scoop? Mienetazzbabygirl@... wrote: Are people in this group are we to be doing Foodmovers or is it anything you want. Guest guest
I follow the food mover pretty closely when I'm on program. I've had a bad week but I'm gearing up to start back on track again and get to my next ST goal. I usually exceed the fat content of the food mover but not the calorie count. I'm only concerned with calories, not fat/carbs/sodium though I do try to kind of keep those in mind when I start planning meals. I know that the leaner the meat, the more veggies I squeeze in there, the more I can actually eat.tazzbabygirl@... wrote: Are people in this group are we to be doing Foodmovers or is it anything you want. Guest guest
I would like this article because my Dr. said to start taking Milk Thistle. My mother in law is an ND and I'm sure she would loooove to get me all the info I need but I don't want her to get involved because she tends to prefer her own advice over a MD and sometimes I don't think it's appropriate. PLUS... no offense to anyone this is just my opinion but I can't see how you can give true medical advice if you became a dr. through a correspondence course. Anyway, anytime she give me advice I double check with my dr. this time they are in agreement. brandy Re: I have a ? Guest guest
thats a good idea Nan,, I am the same way, and some MT brands are not as good as others, but even simple silymarin can help the inflammation in your liver, just make sure you find a "standardized" brand and one that is silipho bound.. then you can be sure what they say is in the bottle IS in the bottle,, and buy from a well known brand such as source naturals,, there are many other very good brands, but at the moment, I just can't think of their names,, lol,, INF caused brain damage, lol,, but talk with your doc before you take anything... you may be taking some other supplement or drug that might not work well with it.. so be careful! jax Pike <magicnan2005@...> wrote: I told her I wasn't comfortable with it.
