Guest guest
's Daily MessageThursdayJuly 20, 2006 TERRIFIED TO START AGAIN That`s what quite a few people told me this week via the telephone. Tom from Michigan lost 100 pounds for his wedding day, and he has the pictures to prove it. Two years later, Tom got a divorce, and he has put on 100 pounds. from Georgia had successfully lost 88 pounds by changing the way she was eating and faithfully going to the gym 5 days a week. Then her mother slipped and broke her hip, and has been taking care of her mom, but not taking good care of herself. For 5 months now, has not been to the gym and has been living on fast food due to her schedule. has regained 52 pounds, and at the rate she is going, she`s afraid she will put it all back on. from Massachusetts was so proud of herself, she couldn`t stand it! She never dreamed she would go from a size 22 dress to a 12. She had never been this successful at losing weight before, and she was so excited to go shopping for a whole new wardrobe. In April of this year, fell on her way to work and broke her kneecap. Since then, 40 pounds have found their way back to . We gain. We lose. We gain. It happens to the best of us! So many tell me when they get to their goal weight, that they will never, ever regain what they`ve lost. It`s easy to say, but not easy to do. Your life takes emotional twists and turns, and it is so easy to revert back to the way you were eating, and when you get lazy with the food, you eventually get lazy with the exercise. That`s when the weight really shoots back up. Do not be terrified to start again! Be terrified to not start again! Before you gain 1 more pound, make the commitment that you are going to work hard to lose the weight you regained. You know what you have to do! Plan healthy breakfasts, lunches, dinners, and snacks. Begin to exercise slowly, and work back up to where you were! May life treat you well this weekend! Love,
