OUT OF THE MOUTHS OF BABES

from California has been a teacher for the last 12 years and simply

adores it. But due to stress and demands in her job, put on 75

pounds. Her body hurt, her joints ached, and she was just feeling miserable.

became very depressed. No matter how hard she tried, she just

couldn`t get her buns off the couch to do much of anything. This year, she

hit her all time high of 248.6 pounds.

In all her years of teaching, not one of her students said anything about

her weight. This year in her class, had a wonderful, but

opinionated, third grade student. One day they were talking, and he made a

quick, but poignant, comment about `s weight. She told him she was

tired, and he said maybe if she lost some weight, she would have more

energy.

This comment stung and stuck with for a few months. One day after

work, she looked in her video collection and found an unopened copy of Disco

Sweat. The first day, was only able to do part of my workout. Now 8

weeks later, has done the whole tape and has lost 25 pounds!

from Oregon was embarrassed to leave the house because of her weight.

She felt guilty because she didn`t do enough with her daughter, . She

watched and cried as her daughter played outside. One day, they both went to

a garage sale a few blocks from their house. found one of my tapes in

a bin and ran over to her mother saying, " Let`s buy this, Mommy, and we`ll

work out together! We both need it. " had done my workouts years before

and remembered how much fun they were, so 3 times a week, and mom

have been doing the video together for 4 months! is down 44 pounds,

and , 12! goes everywhere with her daughter now and feels she

has a new lease on life!

Kids say the darnedest things, don`t they? Out of the mouths of babes comes

honesty, wonder, and amazement.
