Guest guest
I went to WW this morning after missing last week due to travel. My sister joined this AM, so in addition to having someone to go through it with, I will now have a ride - it was taking me over an hour on transit to get there, and it's probably 6 miles away. She probably only needs to drop about 30 pounds but it will feel good to have a buddy because I was usually always on my own at WW and never got really motivated before. They had great food at the conference and I tried to eat sensibly. One of the desserts was quite artistic and attractive, but loaded with chocolate. Chocolate, the "good stuff" (we're not talking Hershey here), gives me killer migraine, so I passed, and doing so didn't bother me. Although I didn't weigh last week, I figure it probably was a "wash" (is that called a "turtle"?) This past Wednesday, I was on a clear diet, for a medical procedure Thursday, so I expected I would have lost some weight, and I did. 2.4 lbs. I don't know how "legitimate" that loss is, but I'll take it. And I'll be prepared for possibly not losing so much next week. Eileen "If you gained weight, you need the meeting.
