Sapphyre, Pringles are trigger foods for me too. There is just no way I can eat just a few. I usually end up eating the whole can right in one sitting. So, I have to stay away from those if possible. I haven't been exercising either. Been sick. Hate being sick, but who likes like it any ways? I think I am on the mend though and hope to start exercising again soon. Hang in there okay? You can get back on track. We both can. We can do this. from MO.

I don't think I responded to the original post yet (LOL) - I am getting notorious for this - but the response to the response caught my eye. It is *not* impossible because unless she is force-feeding you, you do have a choice what to eat now. My mother, bless her heart, was forced into retirement due to health concerns (no doubt related to being obese and smoking, among other things) but now one of her activities is to bake and of course, she can't eat a whole cake herself so she will send it home with me. My kids aren't big cake and stuff eaters so that leaves me. Just last night she said "oh I forgot to send some of this cake I baked home with you" and I told her to trash what she doesn't want because I don't even want it in my house. She's got a neighbor with a teenage son so I think they are now her leftover kings!! (good for them)

Sappyhyre,

Can you talk to you mom about keeping the house your safe zone or is that impossible?

It's hard enough to eat healthy without junk in our homes.

I know you blew it on day 3 but you did have 2 good days in. When I was struggling it was hard to even have 1 good day so putting 2 together is a good start. You can do it!

Good job. We need to nicely tell people what we need to succeed. Hopefully

they will listen. :)

Well, it's not your fault but you have extra challenges since you can't keep

your house junk free. That would be very hard for me.

Ok, I'm closing in on July - Yippee! Anyway we went to the bowling alley today - they have a Pringles vending machine. I didn't have any and I managed not to hurl while the kids were cosmo bowling - I can't play Tomb Raider for the same reason LOL so all in all a successful day!Jase4567@... wrote: Pringles. I suspect it's like what our lanes call Laser bowling. They turn the lights

off on those lanes, have these flashing strobe and colored flashing and

laser lights so it looke like you're in this disco stuck on on fast-forward.

If you easily get car-sick or have a history of epilepsy, this is not the

place to be. I always got dizzy when Henry was at the bowling lanes and

there was a birthday party goin on in one corner and they did that. I had to

go to the other side and avoid those lights all together.

And, what does watching it and playing

Maybe Kelley is like me, who also gets motion sickness watching/playing some

of those fast-moving games. Some of those are SO realistic looking that when

they show fast speeds or the view from a great height I get really woozy.

Yeah, I'm a wuss! Is it any wonder why I still pine for my old Pong game?

LOL

Think disco lights - dark rooms - lights running down the sides of the alleys - overhead strobe lights, flashing lights and all that. I get sick to my stomach and dizzy and it's not pretty LOL actually the beginning of the movie, I believe, Family Man with all the shots moving in and out and around killed me to - I had to rlll over on the couch and just listen LOLABrite@... wrote: In a message dated 7/9/2006 5:39:34 PM Pacific Standard Time, bryefield@...

right as usual Sue :) Only some of those games kill me - Tomb raider being the worst. I love video games! Crash bandicott and LOL Once I started focusing on my family and taking pictures I felt much better, besides with the new sun allergy - it beat still being outside while the kids were playing mini golf!
