You are going to be so much better off (and the baby) now that you DO know how to eat right and exercise. You are right, the pounds should come off nicely after the pregnancy. Work with your doctor, there's probably no reason that you have to quit exercise and stuff. We have a gal at Curves that is pregnant. She skips the machines that make her heart rate go too high (and that she cannot get into/out of comfortably) I'm happy for you,

Hey just because you are pregnant don't mean you still can't post in here and let us know how you are doing. Gaining weight with prenancy counts as gaining weight and I'd love to hear about it:) And I'm sure your doctor will tell you that you still need to make those healthly choices and still do portion control. So really your eating habits probably shouldn't change a whole lot.But theres no better reason on this earth then pregnancy for gaining weight! Guest guest
Congrats Angel. Tina Angel's News HI everyone!Well, I have some big news..I'm PREGNANT!!!!!We had been trying for a long time - 17 cycles.. and now, after dropping 60 lbs, we finally did it! Actually, 100 lbs lost between the two of us since DH lost 40 lbs, too. :)So I will not be too active here since my priority now is getting enough to eat of the right nutrition and not so much counting points to lose any more.. not until AFTER my pregnancy anyhow. I have lost enough that I am confident that I can get down to the ideal weight after the baby.I am 37 yrs old, btw.. So even though I wanted to lose all the weight first - once I was committed to it, I didn't feel I had time to postpone the babymaking efforts.Blessings,~Angel

I would have taken the weight off after pregnancies, exercised, ate right, etc and been healthier all along. You go girl!!
Guest guest
Thanks! Just a healthy baby, gender isn't a big deal to me. I'd eventually like one of each, though I know that might not happen. Maybe I have twins in me! Wouldn't that be interesting? ~Angel 301/242/BABY! On Sun, 2 Jul 2006, wrote: > Congrats on the big news. That is great!!! I'm so happy for you. Guest guest
Oh yeah, I am eating very healthy now, but a bit more - higher protein and more milk each day. My points are a little higher, but I'm not worried about that really. I am still exercising, but have been so exhausted the last week that it's been difficult and my time is down a lot. I had been doing 120 min. a day and this week I only did about an hour - but more in the gardening and walking and less regular aerobics. I got to the pool one day for water aerobics on my own, though. I'm going to try to do a regular workout of about 90 minutes now, just nothing tooo high impact and not as high an intensity as past. Thanks, ~Angel 301/242/BABY > > Congrats Angel!! You are going to be so much better off (and the baby) now > that you DO know how to eat right and exercise. Guest guest
Thank you! I agree, it's happy weight this time around. Yes, you still do portion control, but you need to eat a bit more in terms of higher protein and higher dairy. I have been MUCH more hungry already even though it's just the beginning. And soooo tired that it's been hard to get in all the exercise. I'm still doing it, just not as long or as intense. I went up a pound already, but my measurements are down about an inch from last week in the hips, waist, and thighs. Last night after dinner I was way bloated though and my waist was up three inches. Today it's down 4 " from last night so it must have been water weight or dinner. I can feel everything changing in my tummy.. uterus growing, feeling very bloated. So strange! I am fortunate that I'm still hungry and not really sick with morning sickness, though! Hugs, ~Angel > I hope you have a great pregancy. Guest guest
Angel Congrats. WW has a pregnancy point thing that could help you get the right nutrion. Dont do what I did. Do to being preggers I gave myself a free pass to eating well. Even though at month 4 I was diebetic and eating better I still gained 75 lbs do to no exercise. 11 yrs later I am still trying to lose baby weight. LOL I have known gals that take such good care of themselves end up being lighter when the deliver OR stronger to do eating well and exercise. When are you do? Dont hestitate to still participate even though you are on a different path. NH... Mom to Abby Liz 10/94 Anne 7/

Guest guest
Actually, WW doesn't let you participate any more if you are pregannt (once you tell them). They have a program for nursing mothers. I've heard you need more calories during pregnancy, but even more during nursing, so my guess is that my points would be between the two, in this case 33 points. Thats what I'm trying to stick to - and am, but my weight has already gone up a couple lbs. Oh well! I'm into my 6th week now.. I am still exercising, though not quite as much. I managed 119 minutes yesterday, though. I am due March 5, 2007. Blessings, ~Angel On Mon, 3 Jul 2006, Jase4567@... wrote: > Angel Congrats. Yeah, do your best, you are definately going to need to eat more - and like you already said, it just isn't a license to pig out for 9 months!!
