Guest guest
It might have been during our November vacation I bought the WATP Power Mile video. It's a 1-mile walk that goes *really* fast, compared to her other videos. There is also some strength training tossed in, with about half the workout done with light hand weights. This really wasn't the best choice of video to do after just walking and stretching the past week, but I got through it with the minimal of gasping at the end. The workout was 18 minutes and a few seconds, start to finish. Strange, when I have WATP 1-mile express that seems to be a little slower pace but is 3 minutes shorter. Still, the "power" in the title comes from not only the speed but the weights - you do move your arms with the weights a lot in this video. It seems I buy a new video every vacation, usually a one in recent years. This time I didn't buy a video, I got a walking music cd by , instead! I didn't even know these existed, so I just had to grab the 1 1/2 mile one (30 minutes). The pace isn't that bad when walking in place, like one does during her in-home videos, but when I tried to walk it on the treadmill the speed in the middle tracks was a wee bit too fast for me right now, but for those of you who easily walk a speed of 3 - 5 mph outside or on a tread, this will be just fine for you. There were also 2- and 3-mile cd's in the store, F.Y.E. in Staten Island, NY. I did *not* see these in the F.Y.E. stores in NJ that I had been in, though. I just looked and it's not on her web site, either. She *does* have this 3-cd set: http://www.lesliesansone.com/store/product48.html of music at 1-, 2-, and 3-mile lengths. I see Amazon has a load of 's audio cd's, too: http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=br_ss_hs/002-2060057-9915265?platform=gurupa & url=index%3Dmusic & keywords=leslie+sansone & Go.x=12 & Go.y=8 & Go=Go or try http://tinyurl.com/jkw29 The one I have is the Walking For Weight Loss - Beginners Level. With everyone moving from exercising in the stuffy indoors to the great outdoors, it's nice to have a familiar voice going along with us - besides and *his* audios, that is. Sue in NJ Some do Craig - Some do - I do Sara Lee.
