Guest guest
's Daily MessageThursdayMay 18, 2006 THE PYRAMIDS After a busy press day yesterday, I went back to my room and watched some TV. I came across a National Geographics special about the building of the Pyramids. In it, hundreds and hundreds of men were carrying these huge stones. I have to tell you, I got exhausted from just watching the special. I mean these guys worked really hard everyday for years and years to complete these great structures...and it showed! As is always the case in life, hard work pays off. And if you`ve been successful in your weight-loss journey, it`s because you worked hard to get every pound single pound off. The question today is, are you working hard enough to get healthier? Are you getting up a little earlier to workout starting your day with some good cardio-activity? It really does set the tone for the whole day. Are you taking the time to have a balanced breakfast in the morning? You know, like a little fresh fruit, oatmeal and your vitamins. During your breaks on the job, do you go take a walk to really wake up your body? Did you make yourself a little lunch to take to work so you can stay on program? Do you drink your water all day to help keep your body hydrated? Did you use your FoodMover for breakfast and lunch so you can know what you should have for dinner? Are you stretching your body before you turn in for the night? Are you staying as positive as you can and counting the blessings God has given you? Today, I want you to think about the Pyramids and all the hard work that went into building them. You see, you are the builder and your body is the Pyramid. With every healthy meal you eat and for every hour of working out you complete, you`re building a structure that will last you a very long time. I`m still in New York and in a while I`ll be going to Brookhaven Rehabilitation Center to teach a "Sit Tight" class to all the people there. I am bringing Entertainment Tonight there with me so they can see the wonderful work this Center is doing. But after that, I`m off to the airport to get back to Los Angeles and teach class. Work hard today and everyday, everybody. Never lose sight of building your own Pyramid. Love,
