Guest guest
's Daily MessageSaturdayMay 06, 2006 JUST THE BEGINNING Later this morning, my cruisers and I will leave the ship and head back to our homes and families. Lots of tears were shed last night at our Awards Banquet. Yes, everyone was sad that our cruise is ending, but there were also tears of joy, for they will leave the ship knowing that they have accomplished so much! Many of the people who came on this cruise had never exercised before, but in 6 days, they learned the steps, and they gave it their all in the classes. Each day, they've eaten 3 healthy meals, and they've eaten more salads this week than they've ever eaten before. Most of them weighed in yesterday and were very happy to learn that they lost several pounds during the cruise! Yesterday I told them, "This cruise is just the beginning!" Now it will be their jobs to go home and continue their new lifestyle. They must continue to follow their FoodMover program and to exercise every day, and they must continue to laugh and have a positive attitude. Last night, everyone came up to me to tell me how much the cruise meant to them. Many of them came on this cruise alone, but they aren't alone anymore. They're leaving with a whole new family! I always give each of them an address book, and all day yesterday, they were busy collecting their new family`s snail mail and email addresses. This cruise was a reunion of sorts for me. There were so many people I have known for a very long time, but there were also new people that I met for the first time this week. I know they will now be in my life forever, too! Early in the cruise, many people find out where my room is, and at night while I'm sleeping, they slide letters under my door. They write me about how they gained weight, and they tell me how scared they are. Near the end of the cruise, they often write me again, and the second letter is so different from the first one! After our voyage together, their letters are filled with joy, hope, and determination! Last night I stayed up until about 2:00 AM reading letters, and then I spent an hour packing my clothes before I went to bed. Why do dirty clothes seem so much heavier than clean clothes? LOL! I didn`t go to breakfast this morning. Instead, I stayed in my room with the door open so that I could get my goodbyes. Many of my cruisers dropped by to thank me for the cruise and to tell me how well they`ve done this week. They say that the cruise changed their lives! I hope you enjoyed the CyberCruise this week! Did you make some positive lifestyle changes? Did you exercise every day? Did you eat healthy meals and nutritious snacks? Did you laugh a lot and fill your heart with happy thoughts? Email me and tell me all about it! I loved hosting the CyberCruise for you! Soon I will be on the plane flying back home to Los Angeles. Hattie and Dolly will be so glad to see me. I can't wait to chat with you on Monday! Love,
