Guest guest
LOL Sounds like you and the kids are fitting in nicely! The biggest thing I miss is the beach. Love the smell of salt air!! We went up to Cohasset last Labor day weekend w/the boys. Took them to the beach for the first time. They were a little apprehensive about the sand and the water then after about a minute were running and playing like they had been doing it their whole lives! Wow, a week on the Cape!!! I miss that too. Save lots for that tho, it can be expensive!! Take care! Judi --- SStauffer1968@... wrote: > Hi Judi- > > We have been to the beach 3 times! It is so fun > with the kids. That's the closest I've come to throwing up since I had weight loss surgery 9 weeks ago. Weird. Maybe I ate too fast or didn't chew well enough. Blech. Thankfully the feeling passed in a few minutes and I was ready to play in the water some more. I hope that is all it was... easily corrected, huh (eat slower).... you've been doing pretty good up to this point. Correction: you have been doing GREAT! More crowded than Texas beaches but perfect weather and no seaweed. My sister has to work tomorrow so the kids and I will do a few things around Savannah. Wed. we'll head to Jekyll Island to have another beach day. Usually I weigh at least once a day and sometimes more. My sister doesn't have a scale so I'll be in for a surprise when I get home on Thursday. I hope it is a pleasant surprise. I think I've been doing ok but I've had more sweets than I should. Meals have been moderate though. I took some thin sliced turkey to the beach for lunch and I felt very nauseous after I ate it. It's been years! Ann
