wondering how long it takes

Hi All-

Owen was banded at 8 months on Dec 5th and I was wondering how much

correction I should be seing. Sometimes I think his head is getting

rounder and other times ( like in the bath tub) I swear nothing has

changed. He has postitional plagio and mild tort adn his head is flat

on the left rear side. Any insight?

Hi :

Please refresh my memory, does Owen have the STARband or DOCband? If

it's the DOCband, Cranial Technologies should have his head mold in

by now, that will give you a great visual aid to compare what his

head looked like in the beginning vs. what it looks like now. At

eight mos., you should be seeing some improvement after a month, esp.

if he's grown since he's rec'd the band. Have you noticed any

growing? Has he outgrown any clothes since beginning?

I also suggest taking pictures of his head on a weekly basis, be sure

you date each picture. It really is so hard to know if you're really

seeing improvement. One minute you think you do see it's rounding,

the next you don't think you've seen any! It's frustrating, I know.!
