We've become a chatty group again--YAY! :) I got on right before bed

to check messages and just about fell outta my chair! *grins*

I sure hope painting a room burns some calories because that's

basically what I did *all* day yesterday. No formal exercise in the

morning, but at least 4 hours of rolling, then another 2-3 of cutting

in. And I realized something: back in November I repainted my older

son's room. After one coat on each of his walls and cutting in on the

back wall, I was dead tired and sore. I remember wondering then how

much less I would've gotten done had I not been exercising since Sept.

Well, yesterday the room I did is larger than my son's room by quite

a bit and I did two coats on all walls except one (ran out of paint),

and the cutting in, and while I am a bit sore in the neck/shoulder,

I'm fine!

I was so focused on painting, though, that I didn't journal my food

much. I didn't eat terribly, though, so I'm not going to beat myself

up. And according to caloriesperhour.com, painting burns about 350

calories per hour for someone my age/size, etc...if that's true, I'm

in great shape for yesterday! :) Even if it's only 150/hour, I think

I'm still in good shape. :)

Anyway, good to see people posting again!
