Just wanted to welcome the new members and introduce myself. I'm

Bonnie, 31, and I stay home with two boys, ages 5 (next week!) and 2

1/2. Dh works in Indy and we live outside Indy. Growing up, I wasn't

overweight really, but I was taller than most of the other girls and I

have a bigger frame, so I always felt huge. Then I started gaining

weight when I was 18 or 19, I think, after a bad auto accident.

Gained more in a horrible relationship when I was 20-22. Lost 80+

pounds on Atkins when I was 24 and the minute I 'took a break', I

gained it all back. Gained even more when on full bedrest with our

first son and topped out at almost 350, I think, while pregnant. I

managed to get down just under 300 two years ago, but gained it all

back up to about 338. And I'd yo-yo up and down 15 pounds quite a

bit, but I'd give up when it didn't go quickly.

Anyway, started in September this time around and through journaling

what I eat and exercising 6 days a week, I've lost 62 pounds. I don't

really have a goal weight. Truthfully, I'm just happy to be active

again. I know I'd like to lose another 40 pounds, but beyond that,

I'm just taking it one step at a time :)

Well, time to get moving :) Welcome to the group! All the ladies

here are so supportive--and it's nice to know you're not alone in your

struggles.
