Guest guest
's Daily Message WednesdayMarch 29, 2006 HOW IMPORTANT? You tell me it`s important to you. You tell me you know it`s important to get your exercising in. You tell me you`ve tried to lose weight and keep it off without exercising, and you didn`t. You tell me you used to exercise all the time. You said you were addicted to it! Many of you sent me pictures when you reached your goal weight with letters of jubilation! Then you tell me your life changed, and exercise didn`t fit in your new lifestyle. You tell me with all you`ve got to do, you have no time for you. You tell me you gained weight – some of you 25 pounds, and others 125 pounds. You tell me you`re very disappointed in yourself, and you feel like a failure. You tell me everyone has noticed your weight gain, and they don`t exactly know what to say to you. You feel awful that your clothes are tight on you. You remember how fun it was shopping for all those smaller sizes. You tell me you hate to look at yourself in the mirror and don`t like to go out much anymore. You tell me you feel tired all the time. So even though you told me how important it was to you, I guess it wasn`t really that important. Today I would like to tell you again why moving is so crucial to that magnificent body of yours. Working out is the magic pill – the magic bullet you`ve been searching for! Exercise is pure life in movement. God designed your body to move. He put your amazing skeleton together with a bunch of bones he made himself. He wrapped them in muscles and veins and gave us the other parts of our insides to make it all function! Look what the body can do! It can dance. It can play hopscotch and jump rope. It can do flips and cartwheels. It can balance on a skateboard and on thin silver blades. It can jump! It can crawl! It can have a ball if you keep moving not for just one hour, not for just one day, not for just one year, but always! Have you begun this month to exercise daily? What? You haven`t? Make that commitment today, and make your workouts happen! Love,
