FIVE TILL APRIL!

March is coming to a close. In 5 days, we`ll all be hopping over to April.

Yes, APRIL! Can you even believe it? I have to ask you how you did so far

this month. How many days were you on program? Have you been eating the

right number of calories and fat grams? Did you take the time to eat 3 meals

a day and healthy snacks? How many times did you drive past the drive-ins?

How many times did you say no to foods that were chanting your name? How

many colas and diet colas did you not drink?

How about the exercise part of the program? How many days did you work out

so far this month? How many hours of cardio? How many hours of toning? Did

you do your morning and evening stretches?

Did you weigh yourself? Did you lose weight, stay the same, gain? Did you

see a difference in the way your clothes fit? What I`m trying to say is did

you see the results you wanted to see?

Well, if the answer for some of you is yes, keep doing what you`re doing,

and if the answer is no, there`s still hope! With a lot of effort, you could

lose 1 pound in the next 5 days, and wouldn`t that be better than putting on

a pound or two before the month is up?

Okay, here`s what you`ve got to do. Drink 40 glasses of water. Oh, you

should see the size of your eyeballs after reading that. They`re about to

pop out! Yes, you have to see the bottom of 40 8-ounce glasses of aqua to

make sure all the food you eat will swim to the right places. You have to

eat a salad a day and watch that dressing! You have to have a piece of fruit

in the morning, in the evening, at suppertime. And speaking of suppertime,

eat your last meal at a reasonable time. Stay away from sugary, salty, and

greasy snacks. Concentrate on eating the greenest of the green vegetables,

like spinach, broccoli, and string beans. Have fish twice this week, like

halibut or salmon. Concentrate on eating the healthiest carbs, like oatmeal,

brown rice, and yams. Exercise 45 minutes to 1 hour a day, and touch your

toes in the AM and PM!

So the choice is yours. What will you do the last 5 days of March?
