Hi there, I got my Weight Watcher books out from when I went a few years ago I think it was. Well, any way, I am going to try and do the Weight Watchers and my diabetic thing at the same time, I believe I can do it. I tried it yesterday and it worked. I am still putting my info down at sparkpeople too. I want to see which works best for me. I think I will do both for a week or two and then see which works best for me. I can do both with my diabetes way of eating. I thought it would be harder then it is, but it doesn't look like it will be that hard. 340/293.9/275

One of the best things you can do is to make the switch to whole grains. Eat

whole wheat bread instead of white, use brown rice instead of white, or try

some other whole grains, like kasha, barley, millet - there are dozens in

the grocery store aisles. Add beans and other high fiber foods, too. They

digest slower and therefor keep your blood sugars at a more stable level.

You can still use WW, or even the Foodmover, to control your portions, but

making healthier food *choices* is just as important.
