Guest guest
Hi there, I got my Weight Watcher books out from when I went a few years ago I think it was. Well, any way, I am going to try and do the Weight Watchers and my diabetic thing at the same time, I believe I can do it. I tried it yesterday and it worked. I am still putting my info down at sparkpeople too. I want to see which works best for me. I think I will do both for a week or two and then see which works best for me. I can do both with my diabetes way of eating. I thought it would be harder then it is, but it doesn't look like it will be that hard. 340/293.9/

Eat whole wheat bread instead of white, use brown rice instead of white, or try some other whole grains, like kasha, barley, millet - there are dozens in the grocery store aisles. Add beans and other high fiber foods, too. They digest slower and therefor keep your blood sugars at a more stable level. You can still use WW, or even the Foodmover, to control your portions, but making healthier food *choices* is just as important.
