AU REVOIR, JANUARY

In less than 24 hours, you will be ripping off the January page of your calendar, and before that happens, I think we should look and see how you did in January. How did the month treat you, and how did YOU treat you? I think an end of the month inventory is in order, so let`s break the last 31 days into two categories, accomplishments and disappointments.

Let`s start with the up side. You saved some money, and you`re proud of yourself. You said "no" to this, and "I don`t need that" to that. And there you sit with a big smile on your face and money in the bank!

You stuck to your eating plan. Although you were tempted many times to indulge, you thought about a bulge you wanted to see disappear. You stopped drinking colas and made water your main beverage. You ate out less and enjoyed more home cooked meals.

You promised yourself and your body you would move at least 45 minutes a day, and you kept your promise. Even with your hectic schedule, you found the time to get your workouts in! Sometimes you got up early to exercise, and sometimes you stayed up late. And you were so glad you did!

You lost weight – 6 pounds to be exact or maybe a bit more – and you can feel it! You lost 2 inches in your waist and some inches in other places, too! You can see the difference in the mirror and by the way your clothes fit. I`m sure you accomplished a lot more this month, and kudos to you!

The down side was that you didn`t put any pennies away. You didn`t stick to the SlimAway program. You didn`t get your workouts in. You didn`t lose weight, or you lost very little. Today is the day to figure out why you lost focus and how to regain that focus to move forward!

Don`t spend today being upset with yourself if you fell short of what you wanted to accomplish. Today get your FoodMover out, go on Blast Off week starting tomorrow, plan your meals, get your daily exercise in, lose the amount of weight you want to lose, save some dough, and let it grow!

Love,
