The scale has been up and down all week - irks me since I worked out 6 days this week - the official results - no change 299.8 but ON the PLUS side - I tried on my jeans - it's been about 8 months since I last could fit in them - November couldn't get them over my thighs AND TODAY THEY FIT!!!! I was doing the twist in front of daughters door - doing the "look at me dance" LOL. Then she has the nerve to say why not try a new pair she bought that were 3 sizes too big for her and she hadn't had a chance to return them. They were a size smaller than the one I had on and they were from Sears - (as opposed to the just my size stretch brand I like) I was like - why do you want to bring me down - but I humor the kid, who says but mom they're stretch (as are the just my size). Since we were going to the show (we saw when a stranger calls) - AND THEY FIT!!!! More dancing - needless to say I wasn't as put together as I was before hand but feeling good!!! I was starving by the time my girlfriend got here for a very rare girls night out - who I just happened to see the orginal when a stranger calls with (now there's an age give away!!!) we were going to dinner before the show. Iate 1/2 a beef sandwhich and a handful of fries - too much popcorn at the show and a large pop that I'm finishing up now, then because we were having so much fun we went to Bakers Square for pie. Man I'm going to have to spend the whole game on the bike tomorrow! Thank goodness I have 7 days before I have to step on the scale! Done rambling now - I have lots of 'way to go' and 'hang in there' emails to write not to mention A GREAT BIG WELCOME to our new members. I sure hope gets thier act together soon because between the duplicate emails and the fact that I'm still getting email from Wednesday I have to get busy! So if I miss anybody - great job, keep up the good

work, hang in there & welcome :)Live, Love, Laugh

, with a couple of small changes, I could have written that

first paragraph myself! Before I get into it too much, way to go on

fitting in the jeans--both pairs!!! As for the weight on the scale,

you're probably putting on muscle while losing fat, so you might be

losing inches instead of pounds right now. It sure is frustrating to

work so hard and then see no change, though--I've been fighting that

off and on since early December.

I have three people in my life that bring me down on a semi-regular

basis. My mom, my dad, and a friend. My parents both love to say,

" way to go! " , but they are the first ones to bake brownies and lasagne

the day I come to visit and then say, " Oh, you can't have that? " (I

now come armed with a can of soup and a sandwich every time I visit.)

Or, yesterday, my dad says, " Well, you're looking better, but you

need to lose a lot more, so don't stop now. " Nice. What I love is

that the man is over 300 lbs himself, and what's he doing about it?

Anyway, there are always going to be people like that, even family

members (as much as that hurts), and to get through it I just have to

remind myself that this time it's for me. Not for prom, or my

wedding, or for my 10-year reunion, or swimsuit season...it's for ME.

So I can enjoy being active with my little boys, so I can just plain

feel better on a daily basis, and so I can live a happier, more

productive life in general. Already I have such a difference in my

energy level. Yesterday we got snow for the first time in a while and

I went out and built a snowman with my kids :) I did most of the

rolling, and I didn't even break a sweat--last year that would've

killed me.

Anyway, didn't mean to ramble. :P You're definitely going in the

right direction and congrats on that!

Wow , getting into those pants that is fantastic. I can't wait until I get into some smaller clothes, but that is going to be awhile. I have some smaller clothes that I bought the last time I lost a lot of weight, but I think it will be a long time before I can get into those. The clothes I am have though are a lot bigger on me then they used to be. So I can tell I'm losing weight. I just think it is really great that you were able to get into those pants. So cool for you. I'm happy for you. 340/300.8/135

I'm really enjoying it because the last time I was that heavy it took me 65 pounds before I could fit into zip jeans. They're stretch - so they most likely grew with me as far as they could and just waited for me to get back on track. I can't explain the Sears ones though :) Wish I would of tried them on Friday - the one day we were allowed to wear jeans to work because of the superbowl <memyselves@...> wrote: Wow , getting into those pants that is fantastic.
