Guest guest
I was looking through the database, and I too am from Canada. I quickly noticed that the majority of Canadians were waiting to see doctors, or waiting for bands, or that they were just getting started at a late age, or who know what. My DD is 18 months and the ped is so stupid and we are waiting to see the neuro-surgeon in Edmonton we saw when she was born - the ped says he will prabably tell me to wait until she is two as well. She has moderate plagio. He also said they don't beleive in banding, My question to all you Canadians is are all of you having the same frustrations with our doctors? Do they all have the same opinion? Why is it that the Americans seem to be able to convince their doctors to do something, while our doctors won't listen. Has anyone had these problems too? Also - anyone in Edmonton - have you seen the neuro-surgeon Dr. Aronyk. we had him for her fractured skull at birth and my ped seems to thing Dr. Aronyk is just gonna tell me to wait till she is two as they give them until their bones fuse to see what happens (which I dont understand cause by then it is WAY too late for banding) - Frustrated Canadian Mom of Kayleigh
