Congratulations Max!

- Sorry about all the stress you are under - not to mention the

holidays on top of it. UGH! Hope santa brings a new job for your hubby.

My boy just started walking at 16+ months and 6 months of early intervention

to help out. When he decided it was time he was off and running -

literally. We were never that concerned about it but I swear the comments

from people about it were worse than about the helmet. " He's not walking yet

and he's howwww oldddd??? " Hope you're not running into the same clueless

people. My stepson was 18 months old before he walked and it doesn't seem

to have cast a shadow on his life =).

Way to go le!

Thanks for the well-wishes for us all, Amy.

No, no stupid comments from people yet as they can tell I'm kinda

concerned about him still not walking but when Max was wearing his

helmet and people would stare at us, I'd whisper as we walked by

them, " I beat him " and then laugh my butt off! Yes, I'm mean but

people look at you like you DO beat your kid so why not just tell

them that and " ease their feeble minds " , ya know? One woman stopped

me once and said, " NO YOU DON'T!!! " to which I replied, " Of course

not! " and explained what it was all about. I told her that, herself

included, people give me that look like 'what have you done to your

child' so why not play with them?

Smirking still at the look on her face,

& Maxwell who say Thank You!!
