Guest guest
A touch of love is an orgnisations which allows people to sponsor children in developing countries and is run by volunteers so administration costs are kept to a minimum. They do NOT vaccinate though they do provide allopathic (as well as natural) medical care. The money goes to food, clothing, education and health. If you are looking for an organisation to give money to to help with the devastation taking place in Asia right now, please consider giving here and also, consider sponsoring a child through them as well. Take care, Meryl _____ From: tim waidelich [mailto:atouchaluvoz@...] Subject: A Touch of Love tsunami appeal Dear friends of A Touch of Love Foundation, The very best wishes to you and yours for the coming year. The Foundation has been approached in the past few days by sponsors wondering if we were doing anything about raising funds for the tsunami survivors. As a result of those inquiries and after much discussion we have begun puting in place the plan to do our part to help with the immense need. We are collecting donations which will be hand carried to India by Wayne and Vickie Galler. They can then personally see to the purchase of the most useful items in India, organize their transport and delivery and thereby ensure that the supples get to the intended destination. We can ensure that 100% of the funds are utilized and that we get the best value for our money. Because we are already involved in this type of work we have the necessary connections and can organize the process efficiently. One of the difficulties that aid organizations deal with in a major crisis like this is that after a few weeks, when the dust has settled and the press have gotten as much mileage out of the incident as they can, the flow of funds and assistance starts to wind down and many survivors are left with little or no help with their on-going needs. We are keenly aware of this situation and want to be able to lend our help, as much as we can, for this future situation. If you would like to help please send your donations direct to our US office: A Touch Of Love Foundation 604 Hupa St Ventura, CA 93001-4445 USA Or to: Tim Waidelich 5401 Kyogle Rd. Cawongla, NSW 2474 Ph. 02 6633 7242 In love and service, Tim Waidelich, for A Touch of Love Foundation PS. This tsunami disaster is certainly a crisis of monumental proportions and we must do all we can for those affected. But did you know that this year over 5 million children under 5 yrs. died in India from starvation and disease. Thats over 10,000 every day! The immensity and senselessness of that crisis seldom makes the news headlines and leaves me floundering for understanding. _____ Find local movie times and trailers on <http://au.rd./mail/tagline/*http://au.movies.> Movies.
