I am a big professor of the hugeness behind it (no pun intended)... this past summer, there were several weeks that the scale just did not budge, yet the measurements were getting smaller and smaller, so I know God was working on other areas of my weight loss needs, ya know? It definately helps during the plateaus. Thankfully, the scale is on a downward trend again LOL... My answer for the issue of how often to weigh.... I try to stay off it more than once a week. If I start going daily, I start going more than once daily and become obsessed with the number on the beast and let it determine if I am having a "good week" or a "bad week", and none are bad.... even a maintain isn't bad... heck, even a small gain isn't bad if you are building muscle right ;-) (I hope).... so, I go once a week and the rest of the time OSOM (out of sight, out of mind) for me... under the bed, etc....
