Debi:

You are definitely doing the right thing by keeping the band off his

head until his head clears up. Don't worry about keeping it off him

for a few days. Most of us have had to keep the band off while our

child had a fever or in cases like yours. Make sure his head is good

& cleared up before you put his band back on him.

That's great that you've seen improvement so far! More rounding will

come soon!

I'm glad to hear he is doing so well for being so premature. It

sounds like he is a strong little bugger! That's wonderful. An ex-

coworker of mine had 2 kids born at 27 & 28 wks and are both a bit

behind but otherwise are healthy as can be. It's amazing what they

can do now for preemies.

Keep us posted on 's head! Hope he gets better soon!

(hopefully in the next day or two) should we just plop it back on his

noggin or should we go slow like when we started?

Debi:

Sorry, I forgot to answer this question in my earlier reply. I'm

getting a brain freeze from the stinking 2' of snow we've gotten in

the past 5 days in Grand Rapids! Grrr. Anyhoo, you might want to

put the band back on slowly, maybe check on his head every

couple hrs or so to make sure his head is ok for a day or 2. It

doesn't hurt to be extra careful!
