WTG!! You ARE on your way!! I love frozen meals because I too have a

problem with self control!! And the frozen dinners help me a lot with

overcoming that!! Healthy Choice meals are great. But Lean Cuisines

are my favorites!! If you go this route be sure to drink lots and lots

of water because frozen dinners are high in sodium. I try to stick to

meals that are under 500mg of sodium. Some of them can have a whopping

800, or 900, or more!!

And you are doing the best thing about the control issue, just ignore

the cravings. At first it takes effort, but after a while it will be

easier to say no. Notice I said easier and not easy, hahaha!! I had to

show some control today by not having that piece of chocolate I wanted.

And last night, trying to not eat after 7!! Man, it's hard, but the

hard work pays off!! It's like a battle in your head between mind and

body.

" I can have it just this once "

" No, you ain't gett'n it and that's final!! "

Yup for real!! I'm crazy!! LOL but that's what happens in my head!!

Katrina, I've had a couple of the healthy choice meals. They are pretty good. I usually stick to the asian style meals that have a lot of vegetables. HI Katrina,

I'm an emotional eater too, mainly eat when my depression gets strong. Then there is no stopping me it seems. But I also eat when I am happy too, but not as much. It is okay to start slowly. Take things one step at a time. I like Lean Cusine and some of the Healthy Choice meals. I like to eat those when I don't feel like cooking or counting how much I am eating because it is already done for me.

Hey Y'all,Well last night was day 1 of my new eating habits. I am so an emotional eater, and I hate it. I didn't snack all night all I had was a banana and lots of water. I didn't get exercise in I guess i'm slowly working into that. Today I have a Dr. Appointment so I'll give my starting weight later tonight... Self Control is my problem, I've had the urge to eat so many times today, but I resisted... Go me.. lolKatrinaOh just wondering what you all think about those healthy choice meals? That is me too!! It is such a struggle just to resist and remember... I get so frustrated.

I usually add extra veggies because for 300

calories - more or less I want a little more LOL

Katrina my advice is do it weekly. If you are like me and like to weigh to see how you are doing. I do weekly BUT 1/2 way threw week I get on just to check it out. Now I am on a sunday am weigh in OFFICIAL and wed am check as I call it. Just to make sure what I am doing is going in the right direction. It is hard on you if you do every day because your body could just be different one day. Just think you will be in the 200's in no time. Look at the positive. Set a short goal which you say is 5. BUT also set a bigger goal. WW says 10% which is realistic no matter what you weigh. OR do 25 lb increments. Dont forget a non food reward on your list if you are journaling.
