Guest guest Posted January 5, 2006 Report Share Posted January 5, 2006 Hi everyone... Hope your first week of the new year is going well... my week is going so far, so good! Well... ok, who am I trying to kid?! LOL... we're what, 4 days into the new year goals (hate the word resolutions)... or IOMe's and water and exercise are going good. I thought I was doing good walking 5-7000 steps a day, so it was a goal of mine to increase my exercising now.... I want to do 10,000 steps a day! Well? Drum roll please...Sun and Mon were slow days since I was still holidaying :-D Tuesday, I went over 13K and today, over 16K steps. Woah nellie, look out for ! LOL.... hey, just trying to justify my new walking shoes. Might wear them out sooner than the others. I actually made my feet and legs ache today walking so fast. Better slow it down tomorrow and recoup, huh? Tonight, I was really fighting temptation, though. I never did figure out the emotion that was trying to get me: stress, anger, boredom, what? Chocolate brownies calling to me from the top of the refrigerator... (gotta move them...OSOM=out of sight, out of mind)....anyway, after looking at them, touching the wrapper, walking away semi-disgusted, I decided to pop a bag of popcorn... ate it all except for the kernels that didn't pop LOL, but it kept me out of the brownies... bravo (praise God).... Anyway, that's it.... I hope the rest of the week is sorta stress free... and, hope you are all having a good week!
