-: I love my yoga class, but it is very specialized. It's

really modified yoga, 80 to 90%% is lying or sitting on a soft

comfortable mat. Also she has tons of pillows around to put under,

behind places that hurt! I pile up pillows to get myself up and down

from the floor. That's the hardest thing with my weight and arhtritis--

I have come to learn that I am very fortunate to have such a class

near where I live. The teacher was trained in Rehab and Ayurvedic

medicine, the class is very gentle, not expensive and doable, which

is why I have continued with it for years.

As for most people taking yoga being fit. That's changing. I don't

know where you live but perhaps there is a modified yoga class or

class for people with disabilities. This is the only thing that has

ever worked for me. I was absolutely miserable in a traditional yoga

class.
