UNHAPPY PEOPLE

There are lots of unhappy people in this world walkin` around with a frown.

Do you know some unhappy people? I do, and they are no fun to be around, if

you know what I mean. They can bring you down in the worst way! No matter

what you do or say, their tragedy mask never comes off, but if you could pry

that mask off, what would you find underneath? I believe you would find a

very emotional and sensitive person.

In certain emotional states, you begin to believe that everything that goes

wrong is your fault. If someone is staring at you, you automatically think

you did something awful or offensive to that person. You start to think

about every time you spoke to him or her and try mentally to revisit all

your past conversations. You begin feeling uncomfortable being in the same

room with the person.

If you are unhappy, you are always remembering the negative parts of your

life, the people that have hurt you in some way – a teacher, a student, a

friend who makes you feel so unhappy. You start to rehash a bad relationship

you were in and how you never got the job you really wanted.

Unhappy people always compare themselves to others and always feel

inadequate. You know when you are feeling all this despair all the time, you

begin to stop taking care of yourself, because frankly, you don`t care very

much for you. You don`t care about eating healthy. The food that is there,

you just eat and fill yourself up to cover the sorrow. You don`t feel like

exercising. You feel you are doomed, so why bother? You want to be alone a

lot, because you are more comfortable being miserable by yourself. And when

you`re unhappy, you don`t set goals and make plans, because you don`t

believe in yourself enough to make them happen.

If you are this unhappy, you have to snap out of it right away. We all have

that little voice inside of us. You just have to learn to shut it off! There

are lots of happy parts of your life that you have to hang onto. Today make

a list of the happiness you`ve been blessed with, and go over it every day

to build up your self-esteem and confidence. I wish you a happy day!
