Sula would you be able to just have a spurlge but within portion size. If so go for it. IF NOT go get a big frozen yogurt maybe that will help your craving.

I haven't had a single bite of " junk " food (aside of a coupleof

animal crackers) inTWO WEEKS - and suddenly today I'm going

NUTS just thinking about it.

Oh, I've wanted it before - but today, I can practically taste it. I

want, so badly, either a Sonic burger and tots or a piece of

Popeye's fried chicken (with the crust, of course, dangit!)

HELP! Ungh, I can't seem to get it out of my head - and I'm very

close to caving! Even more likely, as I've got an appointment

directly after work so won't be getting home to eat until late late

late :( I need to go to the grocery store, too - and the Sonic's

RIGHT NEXT DOOR.

I'm suffering here! I haven't had cravings like this in a very long

time. I can't seem to get my mind off it - and if I do get my mind off

one bit of off-plan food, it just goes to the next! See? I just

jumped from chicken to Pizza Hut pizza!

*cries*

This is the problem with very restrictive food plans and the human mind -

the more you're told you can't have something, the more you crave it.

I think this is why programs like 's and Weight Watchers have had the

most followers, because nothing is forbidden - you can eat *anything* you

want, but only in measured amounts. To *me*, that's worse, because one taste

is never enough. I have to avoid that food totally and hopefully after a few

weeks the craving finally goes away. Some people say it takes 3-4 weeks to

change a habit like that, but Dr. Doug Lisle in his book The Pleasure Trap

says it takes a few *months* before cravings for those tasty but forbidden

foods go away.

Hang in there!

EXACTLY! There are people who do " NutriSystem without the food " (Nutrisystem has

a

book, which in the end sounds a LOT like foodmovers). I know there's at least

one thing at

Sonic that would fit OK into my WoE - it's just not the one thing I'm CRAVING

(which is a

double-meat-double-cheese sonic hamburger with a sonic sized tots and cherry

limeade!)

:)
