I started this morning off with good intentions - and a bowl of Special K Low

Carb w/ a

dribble of Carb Countdown milk.

By midmorning, I was hungry - but hadn't taken the time to pack any snackage -

and the

tamale guy showed up. Fresh tamales - so hard to resist! I bought a dozen and

ate three.

Lunch was a HUGE salad at SouperSalad - iceberg, romain, spinach, lots of

mushrooms

and raw broccoli. Just a smidge of salad, a dash of chow mein noodles, and a

drizzle of

blue cheese dressing (Yes, the real thing. Full fat = low carb = less glucose

spike for Ye

Olde Diabetic). I even managed to be good and eat only 2 spoonfulls of banana

pudding

and 2 animal crackers. I rewarded my being good with a sugar-free Crystal Lite

slurpee

(just in time for summer, yay!) on the way back to work. I even managed to get

my

lazybones to the gym, and swam for 30 mins.

And then... I caved.

First, it was two hotdogs. Not a terrible dinner - especially with having been

good most of

the day. Buns, dogs, bbq sauce - no cheese or chili. But then... came the

herring in sour

cream (Dutch roomate's corrupting me!) and the entire sleeve of Ritz crackers :(

Thankfully, I seem to have stopped the binge.

Tomorrow's another day.
