Oh gosh, Sorry Donna. I don't adapt well to change either. LOL That is

good news about Maddie's aide staying though. How's the missing going?

Ya know, jo was gone last week to camp, and Seth acted NO different at

all. BUT, when she came home, he hugged her and wouldn't let go. Stuck to

her like glue for an hour or so. A very long time in Seth time! LOL

Strange he didn't show any feeling of loss while she was gone. Hope all

works out with the new teacher and with gone.

OH Donna, I am so sorry---we are going through the same thing here.

Everything is in a upheaval. Most of the teachers and aides are quiting.

They just can't work with the new administration.

Donna, , and others who are Not Off To A Good Start:

So sorry to hear of this qawful news, Donna- I don't think there is

anything worse sometimes- when you think that all is going smoothly , there

is a change, and the rug is pulled out from underneath you. It has

happened to us quite a few times too and I just never seem to recover

quickly. And after a while you stop trusting people. And if we adults,

who can talk about what if feels like, are falling apart, why are people so

surprised when our kids who can't say what is bothering them act out in so

many unique ways?

And , it is your school system that is going through total changes, is

it not? How bad does your head hurt at the end of the day dealing with

that mess? Aye yii yii. How awful.

My prayer for us all is that there may be order out of chaos, and that calm

heads and good hearts will prevail in the end.

God Bless Us, Every One!

Love,

Beth Mum to Ben age 11

and if it isn't inappropriate...I'll sign it for

a 2 or 3 week period. Sorry to hear about

Donna and not having in place what

is needed. And to a for the loss of

enough without the extra concerns.

Sometimes I just can't win no matter what I say so I understand what you mean.

I'm

Hi Kassia,

I'm glad that they'll take care of you! Regular cleanings may help - sometimes I think we're doomed with our genetics though! :) But, at least w/ a regular cleaning visit they can spot stuff before it becomes a big problem. Do you have flouride in your water or are you on well water? I found that when I had "city" water (w/ flouride added) my teeth held up better than when we had well water. Now I use one of those flouride rinses b/c we have a well again.

Dental stuff is crazy b/c it is so darned expensive! I have dental insurance but it only covers a percentage of the cost - so while cleanings are "free", fillings, crowns, root canals, etc. all add up! In the past couple of years I have probably spent close to $1,500 - and that is w/ dental insurance. I did have a period of about 2 years where I didn't go to the dentist for the cleanings and such - and that is probably why things deteriorated - so, definately, if you can get free or low cost cleanings and x-rays routinely, go for it, it may save you $ and pain in the future.

Take care and hang in there!Donna

hey donna, yep i think the guy got the hint LOL. they will take out a week from monday. i was told by his assistant though said that the free clinic does free dental work for x-rays and cleaning for all patients, not just on a sliding scale. so i will make an appointment for regular cleanings if i can. he noticed the gum wear and its genetic. even my sister who visits the dentist regulary and takes great care of her teeth has issues my mom and grandpa lost their teeth to it(well they didn't take great care either). this may have started as a cavaity so i know a visit would have prevented it but then again its only one tooth and besides my gums and slight tartar my teeth feel fine. if anything they are only bothered by candy so there ya go motivation to not eat candy LOL taking some meds so hopefully i will be able to function till its out. it was a such a sharp pain though then i could barely stand almost like getting

kicked with a steel toe boot. kassia

we have city water but not sure if flouride is added. i know when i had well water the dr. made a big stink about it for viola. despite getting her to brush properly her teeth are in good health. just gonna have to be a the tough drill sergeant on her now so she won't have to go down that road. kassia fitness blogmy domainSpecial Needs Scouting Too many people spend money they haven't earned to buy things they don’t want to impress people they don’t like.-Will

Today after I made my smoothie I decided to try almond butter. First batch

I burned the almonds roasting them. (Got distracted, my Dad needed some

helps he is 90, I am his care giver.) Then I got the almonds roasted put

them in the vitamix, made the butter, it needs some salt. Otherwise it is

great. Started washing the container and water was running out the bottom.

The black thing on the bottom has total come undone. I called vitamix they

are sending me a tool to fix the problem. They are also sending a

replacement part, said that they have been having a batch of the new

containers that have been having this problem and they are replacing a part

that will not undo. So now I am glad that I purchased a 32 oz container so

I can still have my green smoothies, they are work great on my blood sugar

counts. Becky

So glad to hear that is sending you the tool and parts that you need. So sorry that this happened! But so glad (again ;-) that you do have that extra 32 oz. container - it sure does come in handy - especially in an unexpected situation like this!

At first I was so upset, what was I going to do in the morning. Then I remembered the extra container, I have not even taken it out of the box. I said alright, I’ll be okay the machine is fine I’ll use the other container. I have only had this 3 weeks and I was already almost panicked at the thought that it was broken. I am already attached. After using your 32 oz container I bet you'll put the 64 oz into storage when you get the replacement parts. I can make 90% of what I need in the 32 oz. container and use the big one for margaritas at parties and for soup for the whole family.

I find that the 64 oz container does not blend small ingredients unless I make reciepes to last for days which I don't necessarily need. So the 32 oz wet container would be ideal for things like pesto and salad dressings. I'm not sure if I can buy the 32 oz from London UK. Any suggestions;) :DFrom: Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...> Sent: Monday, 19 September 2011, 22:51Subject: Re: OH NO

Hello Lea Ann, I will google any distributors in the UK I'm sure something will turn up. How do you manage to make smaller amounts in your 64 oz as I must be doing something wrong each time I make 1 to 2 portion size of pesto or ice cream due to not wanting to make huge amounts the tamper stick does not reach the ingredients. Great group, thank you so much for so many ideas. :DFrom: Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...>To:

Ice cream always has to be made at the 4 cup line - but for other recipes, I usually I can get anything that covers the blades to blend. I'll have to find my 64 oz. container tomorrow and see how far the tamper goes down.
