Guest guest
Last night I had a weird episode. We went to bed at about 12:00 after having my usual bedtime snack. After a round of nocturnal connubial exercise, I tried to go to sleep at about 1:30. I suddenly started to feel a little warm. It got worse, and I shucked off the covers. As time passed, I became hotter and hotter and felt like I should be able to see heat waves rising from my body. Suddenly, I thought, " I am starving. " I stood up and my legs nearly buckled. I began shaking so severely that I could barely make it to the kitchen. I grabbed a piece of the kids candy and could barely get it to my mouth I was shaking so severely. After the candy and about 10 minutes I felt fine, was a little cold, and was able to go back to bed and sleep. Before anyone suggests it, I have never had any perimenopausal stuff and I don't think a standard hot flash would have been accompanied by the weakness and shakes. I feel fine this morning, but that was really awful. The scale was up 2 lbs today, but it must be water because I have been staying on plan. Even with the candy last night I was at 1590 for the day.
