Guest guest
I am thinking that you could turn this into a postive by finding 3rd grade level answers that will refute the propoganda and in the process educate both your child a little further as well as whomever happens to read it in the school system. Actually, maybe it could be part of a letter to the editor in your local paper. Ultimately you could use it as a platform to speak the truth about vaccines to many who may never have heard it. Yes, there will be a couple who might hear and actually begin to think for themselves regarding vaccines. Wouldn't that a positive? And then there is the flouride rinse ..................well lets just say that for the 4th time, 4th child in school , I am opting out of the monthly rinse. My first grader, of course, had already be told the supposed benefits of flouride and questioned why I didn't want her to do it. I simply told her that it was controversial as to whether flouride really worked and that I am not sure if it really a good thing for her because it is a chemical and I don't want to give her something that might be bad for her. She didn't say anything else and I think that she feels that I love her very much by the way I try to protect her. Mavis Statements and Questions Directions: Read each sentence. " Yea, I know....but some parents will probably respond therefore, they will know answers to some of these questions. Sorry, that's what I meant. I definitely wouldn't like that either. I bet there would be a discussion about that. I mean, some parents are probably going to discuss this and I bet the teacher is making notes. And I could use a good adjustement but not sure if I want to commit to driving to Hyannis....lol.
