I would have a talk with the teacher, principal and probably the school board on

this issue. I would raise a little you know what with this issue.

I am glad I homeschool once again.

Subject: Vaccination brainwashing HOMEWORK?

Get this, my third grader came home with this paper tonight for homework!!!!!!

One sided sheet, full of this crap, I am not believing how they have the right

to do this....

I am thinking that you could turn this into a postive by finding 3rd grade

level answers that will refute the propoganda and in the process educate both

your child a little further as well as whomever happens to read it in the

school system. Actually, maybe it could be part of a letter to the editor in

your local paper. Ultimately you could use it as a platform to speak the truth

about vaccines to many who may never have heard it. Yes, there will be a

couple who might hear and actually begin to think for themselves regarding

vaccines. Wouldn't that a positive?

And then there is the flouride rinse ..................well lets just say

that for the 4th time, 4th child in school , I am opting out of the monthly

rinse. My first grader, of course, had already be told the supposed benefits

of

flouride and questioned why I didn't want her to do it. I simply told her

that it was controversial as to whether flouride really worked and that I am

not sure if it really a good thing for her because it is a chemical and I

don't want to give her something that might be bad for her. She didn't say

anything else and I think that she feels that I love her very much by the way I

try to protect her.

I can not believe this! Homework, but trying to get some personal answers from

families at the same time. Brainwashing is correct. Many kids will believe this,

if they haven't been taught better. I'd certainly correct the paper myself. lol.

Boy, am I glad that I homeschool.

I don't think they wanted answers to the questions, they just wanted to

child to identify if it's a question or statement. However, it could

make a child think, etc. Could start a conversation in class, etc. I

still don't like it.

Yea, I know....but some parents will probably respond therefore, they will know

answers to some of these questions. Sorry, that's what I meant. I definitely

wouldn't like that either. I bet there would be a discussion about that. I mean,

some parents are probably going to discuss this and I bet the teacher is making

notes.

OMG - I'm speechless!!

I would put a big red cross right through the whole page and attach

a note about not wishing your child to be subjected to such

propaganda!! They could very easily have used " There is a dog. "

or " Where is the cat? " as homework examples.

Exactly, this is BLATANT

propaganda/brainwashing and somebody(s)

head(s) need to roll on this one. Think

of all the other political hotbeds they

could start using. Good grief, third

graders reading/thinking about

chickenpox shots????????? I hope you

get to the bottom of who's idea this

was. I'd really like to know. Keep us

posted on what you find out.

It is crazy isn't it?

, I just realized from your previous post that you live in Hyannis. I

live in Falmouth and have unvacced kiddos and another one on it's way :)

Anyway, I was wondering if you have any idea what the stats are in Falmouth or

even the Cape for vaccinated vs. unvaccinated. And I could use a good

adjustement but not sure if I want to commit to driving to Hyannis....lol. My

husband who's business is in Needham went to a chiro for the first time in his

life

last week and surely is on his way to better health. He honestly felt

better immediately!

Anyway, thought that I would say " Hi " and hope that you will keep me in

mind if there are things locally that might interest me. Small world eh?

Take care,

, have you been to my site lately? You have to see the picture of

My thoughts exactly Deb, there has to be an alterior

motive in there somewhere for them to use such

statements in a childs homework.
