Guest guest
I hope you can get yourself off that stuff, it's probably not good for you yknow. I hope it goes well with the homeo...maybe you can try doing some holistic things like meditation as well if you feel yourself getting stressed out, those meds just mess with your head. bw A
Guest guest
>Husbands cell phone and told him that he wanted to see me because my hair falling out and bruising has " nothing to do with Lexapro " .< That is horrible, because many drugs are harmful. Isn't that the way it is all the time with vaccine reactions? I call it the knee jerk response of " no connection " They get away with it because the corruption starts at the top and there seems to be nothing we can do about it except get educated and make our own decisions. Guest guest
> Sorry for the off topic bit, I have NO one else to scream at . > LOL A few months ago when I found a Doctor, although D.O, who was > okay with non vaccinating..I saw him for my anxitey which is > REALLY bad. He put me on lexapro. Sincere sympathy for this. It's an awful thing to suffer from. You have a broken leg, you get sympathy. You have chronic anxiety - you get told to pull yourself together! ( BTDT...( > > I started on that and it worked for awhile, then stopped..he > upped the dosage and I started bruising easily. It's a nasty piece of work, isn't it? Just been looking at its profile on http://www.rxlist.com/cgi/generic/lexapro_ad.htm Interesting that it's an SSRI, but the Xanax is a benzodiazepine. Speaking as someone who's been chemically dependent on benzos for 31 years (but is nearly off them now), I don't envy you!! > Yet I read of the brusing ON THE LEXAPRO SITE! And I also read > about the hair loss on other message boards with people on > lexapro!!! Nice huh? This just totally ruined my night! A DOCTOR > has no idea about the symptoms that this drug can cause I've > decided I am not going to this appointment tomorrow. I just don't > think it's worth the co pay. It's very worrying when doctors haven't a clue about these powerful drugs that they prescribe. What's even worse is that not only do they not know about single drugs, but they've even less of a clue about drug interactions. > > I did find a homeopathic Dr. She doesn't usually do payment plans > but said she'd work with us. I had to email her and ask how we > could break the payments up but she hasn't emailed me back yet. > The first inital payment is $250. *STING* LOL That's ridiculous!! How on earth can they justify charging that exorbitant fee? I've just done a quick currency conversion and found that $250 = c. ?140 GBP. It's highway robbery. It might, of course, be the going rate in the US, but it's still way too high. My homoeopath charged me the equivalent of approx. $71 for my first consultation of *5* hours (over two appointments) and I pay approx. $36 for follow ups. I can see I should come to the US to practise when I'm qualified. I could make a fortune! ) Then again, I really don't want to lose my freedom...;o) Look after yourself, Kate. Guest guest
>>A DOCTOR has no idea about the symptoms that this drug can cause>> Most don't. I never trust doctors with prescriptions. Always ask the pharmacists. I guess that's why they give us those sheets to read about the many side effects.
