Guest guest
Have you been checked by your caregiver since the accident? I would see the OB or midwife re the pelvic pain. Guest guest
I went in to the hospital that night to get checked out. The pelvic pain I suspect is from being out of adjustment. I had just been adjusted earlier that day. It is a bone/muscle like pain. Not a pain like labor. But yes that night I went to the hospital and stayed overnight for observation. Everything was in the place it should be no ruptures or anything. - Re: OT: Arnica while pregnant Have you been checked by your caregiver since the accident? Guest guest
That is so good that you had the accident right _after_ an adjustment. So many times people think that's bad 'cause they have to come back but, think about it, an accident with a stabilized spine is going to result in much less injury then when it's had with a misaligned spine. So many times I'll have a regular patient come in with the same kind of accident as a new patient. The one that is regularly checked was injured so much less and required much less treatment then the new patient. And I'm talking about two people that are about the same in the basics of general health: age, health history, body type, etc. I'm sure there's a research opportunity there but never could get through that dang statistics course :-) You're in my prayers, Rena, you and baby will be fine!! So, remember folks, the time to have an accident is AFTER you've been adjusted. When a regular patient comes in right after it, I reward them by not collecting a fee. Yeah, I do bill the insurance, if they have it (that dang phone, electric, etc. bill just keeps coming LOL) Now, with cell phones patients call me from the accident scene. I tell 'em, clean up the blood and come on over. I figure if they can still drive/walk they lucked out and will only need chiropractic care. Guest guest
I had figured that it was probably good that I had just been adjusted that day. I also wasn't expecting the impact so I was also not tensed up. Probably another reason nothing as far as placental ruptures or anything of that sort happened.
