Guest guest
Thank you for posting this. It brought tears to my eyes. I truly hope he's able to overcome it. I'm sure some others will suggest some things you can do for the damage that was done. I appreciate your post because I forwarded it to my son/DIL who 'waited' at my grandson's two month checkup but I'm doing all I can to keep them on the right track. Your post should help that. I know it doesn't help you but little Braden might not suffer as a result. So THANK YOU. You will be in my prayers. And I'm sure I speak for everyone, we look forward to hearing that Angelina has arrived!! I love the name. About Vaccinations... * Well, I didn't know any better, I did what the doctors said I had to do. My son was vaccinated up until his 12 month shots. Well, before his 9 month shots he would walk around and say " mamamamma " all the time. It was wonderful. I don't remember exactly when it stopped. He hasn't said it since. He doesn't say anything. Well, he recently started to say " ball " or more precisely " baa " He's 15 months old. Doesn't say mama doesn't say dada doesn't say anything but baa. And sometimes babbles with different sounds. It's so sad. I believe the vaccinations did this to him. I dunno. Maybe the mercury got to be too much for his little brain. Everyone tells me that boys just talk later than girls. Don't worry, they say, he just got tired of it and is learning new things. How does a baby get tired of getting mama's attention?? I don't know. Well, that's my rant for the day... Hope you all enjoyed it! - Angelina due: 10/26/

Your baby is young enough that most likely you did. It must be more upsetting for young parents that have heard it but trust their doctors and go along with it. Then when the parents see their baby suffer, some die, some have seizures, some lose acquired skills and regress into autism (my grandson did) and are the doctors there to help? NO! They maintain that vaccines couldn't have caused the problem. Were you one that wasn't sure what to believe? Or were you sure the doctors were right and the vaccines were safe? Guest guest
<<<I am curious if you had heard about the controversy of the vaccines causing autism in the media? >>> I'd like to know this too. And just to show you how manipulative they can be: a friend knew long before she ever got pregnant that she would not let her baby have any vaccines, absolutely positively not. On his 4 month check (she realizes now what a horrible mistake she made doing those) her Mother, who was not supportive of her not vaxing, went with her. Before she knew it, she had agreed and her baby received the Hep B shot. To this day, she is still so traumatized she cannot remember what the doc said to get her to let her guard down enough that the shot was given. She stills shakes her head and says it was so quick she really didn't fully realized it had happened until she'd walked out of the office. And this is someone that is totally against any vaxes. He appears to be OK but he has had chalazions since that are being treated homeopathically. I have to say this: they are snakes from hell, every single one of those who try to vax your kids. I don't care how wonderful they are in other ways, if they want to come after your child with a poisoned needle, they are demons. /rantmodeoff/
Guest guest
My little one used to say ma and hi at a young age (before 12 months) and then after the MMR we did not hear sounds from him until 27 months of age, so do not despair! Did your son have the MMR? My son lost the ability to speak, coo, babble after the MMR at age 13 months. He totally could not move his mouth to make any speech sounds at all. We got Silence (except for grunts) for the next 14 months! He also had a few episodes of his eyes rolling back for a few seconds and we now wonder if they were seizures. He started attempting speech sounds again at around 27 months. Totally unintelligible jibberish for a very long time. Eventually diagnosed at Vanderbilt with severe phonological speech disorder and not on the spectrum. We did stop ALL shots after the MMR. And we had not given him the hep B or chickenpox shots, so he ended up getting about half the shots on the schedule. But to provide hope. After years of speech therapy and lots of patience, his speech has improved tremendously. I would not say that he is totally caught up but we do anticipate that in the future. Guest guest
I never even thought about it. I never heard anything bad, I just knew to take my son to the doctor at the certain months and they were going to stick him with needles. He would scream, we would give him his " binky " and he would " get over it " . - Angelina due: 10/26/04 Re: About Vaccinations... >Well, before his 9 month shots he would walk around and say " mamamamma " all the time. Guest guest
I don't know which he had. I didn't even pay attention. I know that he had 5 different shots at his 12 month visit. One was the chickenpox vaccine and the other was the MMR. So, yeah, I guess he did have it! I'm a little addlebrained, sorry. I don't know the other three. - Angelina due: 10/26/04 Re: About Vaccinations... > >Well, before his 9 month shots he would walk around and say " mamamamma " all the time. It was wonderful. Guest guest
Have you guys tried Classical Homeopathy? I will help your children get back on track developmentally and physically (cleaning out the toxins, immune system, etc.). See Sheri Nakkens website or ask the list for a referral.
