Guest guest
I'm just gonna put my two cents in here incase you are taking a poll, lol, our chiropractor is our primary doc. My kids have been adjusted since the day they were born, literally, the day they were born. I am very fortunate to have a husband who agrees with chiro care and not vaxxing. Anytime any of us are ill we go straight to our DC, only if he says we need to see another type of Dr. do we go. In fact my husband was having sever chest pains and a heavyness on his chest last week and the first thing he did was go to the chiropractor. Our family gets adjusted once every week. I would recommend this to everyone, you and your kids will have a better quality of life. :0)
Guest guest
<<<<<Gillian will POOP right after being adjusted, like clockwork, it cracks me up.....>>>>> OK, Laurette and , I'll answer this on list but I had to quote the above as it truly made me laugh out loud!! And reminded me of what some teachers would tell us in school.now mind you, this is in school and a lot of kidding around is done..but when talking about chiropractic being about a lot more then back pain (sssshh don't tell the AMA, FTC, FDA) they would tell us when setting up our office to put the bathroom close to the treatment room as patients might need to go _immediately_ after being adjusted. I've never had this happen (that I know) but I surely do love your sweet Gillian for responding so beautifully to chiropractic care <big big smile here> Now, to answer whether a Chiropractor can treat/help colds, flu, etc. I think others have already said 'yes' to this. And most times the babies, children are brought in on a prevention level so whether they really had or were getting something is never known. But, if they are already sick, they'll probably get over it quicker and they surely won't get sicker 'cause they ain't gonna get any of those nasty drugs from a Chiropractor. Prevention can be somewhat frustrating but so much easier. In my practice, I don't give recs in the area of nutrition, herbs, homeopathy, EO's because I just can't keep up with all the data necessary to do this. But, I know a lot of Chiropractors do this, especially the ones who are currently raising their own kids. And this is a very big part of your child's health. The adjustments will help but only with all the other good lifestyle choices that are needed which I encourage but don't counsel on. We have an excellent homeopath here and some really good naturopaths that I refer to. Chiros with kids are plugged into the local school system and would have all the info you need for exemptions and the inside poop (the really nasty, runny, smelly stuff) on the political atmosphere and what you might have to deal with and how to deal with it. So, if I were you I'd find one with kids if possible. Health food stores, homeopaths, etc. might be able to give you names. Even I would give you names of chiros in my area because they could help you more then I could at this stage of raising your kids. Those that come to me know that they're on their own with this other info and take that responsibility themselves. I am taking Sheri's online vac course so I might be getting into the community more and learn this info. I've avoided it 'cause I'm just afraid I might get violent when I start dealing with some of these people face to face. I don't think I have the temperament for it, time will tell. Maybe Sheri addresses this in her course as it's probably an issue for others too when learning the truth. Baby adjustments are always gentle and usually just involve adjusting the atlas, the top bone in the spine, the first year. Some do cry after the adjustment but most just endure it or appear to truly love it. And I don't know if it's my imagination, but it seems the ones that aren't real happy during the adjustment give me the biggest snuggle or hug and smile afterwards. When I was first out of school and worked for Dr. Macdonald, there was a little two year old that would come in with his Mommy. He would literally follow Dr. M. around the office until it came time for his adjustment. Then he would start crying but would not struggle at all when Dr. M. would pick him up and check/adjust him..he would just cry during it. Then when it was all over, he would again start to follow him around. So cute!! And clearly, he knew who would make him feel better, I guess he just didn't like being touched?? I have found through the years that the children that had been adjusted but would be reluctant on some of their visits to be adjusted, didn't need an adjustment that day. When they did need an adjustment they were very cooperative. I never adjust a struggling child. I really believe they know best and forcing an adjustment just has never felt right to me. I crawled around on the floor with one of my patients for the first 5 (not a typo) years of his life and he would submit to an adjustment after the first few 'crawls' on the floor. Then one day he came in and stepped up to the table and from that day on he let me adjust him on the table. This is the same boy that kept his bottle until he was 4 years old and then one day when accompanying his Daddy to the dump, threw it out with the rest of the trash and used a glass onward. Aaaccckk, somebody stop me, I could tell stories all day. So, there you have it and reading over this I do have to add that even some chiros with kids might not be into this total 'off the grid' way of taking care of their kids' health either, sorry to say. We have two locally who submitted to chemo, etc. for their cancers and are no longer with us. My heart still breaks as these were just the most wonderful people/Chiropractors but allowed themselves to be murdered by the very people that daily try to eliminate what they practiced. I guess I'm reporting this because it just shows how deep the brainwashing goes. And one of the reasons I read this list is to be encouraged by all those who come to see the truth here; it is truly gratifying for me. , Chiropractor since 1976 and wishing she could jet all over the world and check/adjust all your lovely, healthy children!! http://home.capecod.net/~drcrandall/index.html
Guest guest
I just went to the chiro on Friday. The last time I went was 2+ years ago. My head was hurting so bad. On Thursday, I was in tears and had a wet washcloth over my eyes. So on Friday (when our insurance was active), I got adjusted. As soon as he cracked my neck, I felt total relief. I go back on Monday and can't wait. I used to take my children once every other week. But they haven't been since the start of summer. Nate is asking to go back again. So I need to make the appointment. ~`~Holly~`~ iel (5/96) & Jenavieve (5/02) " It is not how fast we learn that counts. It is learning that counts. Guest guest
I am glad you shared your response with the list . Your advice is very helpful to my situation at the moment, as I have been seriously considering a chiropractor myself. I have a partner with a serious back injury and suffer the odd bout of back pain myself. But more importantly I do not have a GP who I can turn to in case of necessity. The main reason for this is my choice not to vaccinate, and the fact I rarely ever go to a doctor. Not even once a year. I have not yet found a doctor I want to go back to again. And around here they change regularly anyway. Also a close friend of mine was recently adjusted by a retired chiropractor friend. He says he feels like he can take on the world and has never felt better. He is into bodybuilding and boxing and has no vices so is already a healthy specimen. I know of a highly recommended chiropractor about 45 minutes from where I live. I will definately be checking him out. Guest guest
I'm glad it was helpful, . I've found people do much better staying away from the MD's. Not having health insurance does a real nice job of keeping people out of their hands and much healthier in the long run. Most Chiropractors have sliding fee schedules and heck most of us will give you free care if you can't afford anything. And there's no fund raisers for us, haha. I will ask people to pretend they have insurance and pay a copay. Most can do that. It gives both of us some dignity in the transaction. Of course if I see them pulling into the parking lot in a car that's newer and fancier then mine, wellllllllllllllll. But then I found out that some have rich friends and it was borrowed and they don't even own a car. Soooooooooo!! I have a friend who only goes for a yearly physical, they never find anything wrong but this last time they talked her into a tetnus shot. She showed up in my office a couple of months later with low back pain, for no reason, duh!! I told her that'll teach her to go anywhere near those 'make and keep 'em sicker' places. OK, stick a fork in me, I'm done LOL
Guest guest
Hello, I too felt I needed to take my now 2yr old un-vacc'd daughter to Well Baby Visits and at her 9 month appt the doctor once again pushed vaccines. I once again said no. My doctor said that since we were not vaccinating we didn't need to come to the appointments unless I had other issues. What she was telling me was that since I'm not vaccinating I'm wasting her time. Nice. We now only see a Classical Homeopath (starting in March of this year) and my daughter is way healthier as she doesn't pick up every cold and illness at her Montessori, etc. My only regret is that I did't give Homeopathy a try when was born as she had colic! Sigh. Best wishes with your newborn! > Hi Everyone! > > I have only been on and off because I just had the baby... so I'm > sorry I'm just popping on to ask questions... Can you believe it? Scarey! Consequently I only see him for adjustments, I see a homeopath as my primary doc. Weird thing is is he's SO " alternative medicine " in most other areas... just not the vaccine issue. Heidi
