Great story, Laurette.

And we can add antibiotics and hormone replacement therapy

to that too. Being a Chiropractor and in practice for 25+

years, I've had many opportunities to say 'I told you so' to

my patients (and believe me I don't miss a chance, I'm old

and crotchety now so I've earned the right :-) ). I hope

and pray that some day I will be able to say that about

vaccines too!!

*Your Health Is In Your Hands*

If they only knew then......

* So I was talking to my Mom over lunch yesterday,

and trying yet

again, to get her to stop smoking already. She's tried

several

times, but apparantly not enough as she is still lighting

up.

Respectfully, she doesn't do it around me or my kids, but

she does

do it.

She laughed a little during our conversation and told me a

story....

She recalled watching a show on TV when she was a child. It

was

sometime in the 50's. She said it was a documentary type

show and

there was some scientists saying how recent studies have

shown that

smoking cigarettes may be the cause of cancer and they

warned that

it is dangerous to continue smoking.

Mom continued her story, explaining that she told her father

and

older brother what she'd just heard on the TV (they both

being

smokers) and they laughed at her. My grandfather told her

not to

beleive all the " crap " she hears on TV, and that she's

watched too

much of it that day anyway. He got up and shut the show

that she

was watching.

Mom never thought about it much after that and figured it

was just a

bunch of nonesense, just like everyone else thought it was.

Now, having this conversation with me at lunch, she recalled

that

memory and said " Well, looks like they were right, and

everyone

thought that was just a crazy notion... cigarette's causing

cancer??

what a bunch of horse-(blank)! "

Hearing this, bells went off in my head. I smiled and I

said to

Mom " you see? the human race makes mistakes. " and I added

" Mark my

words Mom, by the time my kids have kids of their own, a

great

majority of the world will realize the dangers of vaccines

and their

uselessness, and think that we were all ignorant for not

beleiving

it. "

So I've decided that when someone insists to me that they

are safe,

I may want to point out that only 50 years ago, everybody

thought

cigarettes were safe.

Just felt like sharing :)

I imagine that 100 years from now (and I would like to be here for

it, God willing!) what we consider medicine now will be considered

barbaric, cruel, ignorant and even sinful.

Of course that is what some of us consider it to be already, but it

may take a century for the rest of the world to come around. :)

Oh, and I don't mean to be religious on this forum, I know it's not

the place for it, but I just wanted to share.... I am Christian, and

pretty spiritual. I belong to two groups, one live and one online

of fellowship. I mentioned about the vaccines and naturally they

think I'm looney, despite my efforts to try and warn mothers-to-be

among them. The online group includes a Pharmeseutical Phd, so you

can imagine my struggles with him...

Anyway, I finally said I had to stop talking about it because I got

tired of the endless critisism and lack of understanding and it was

just too frusterating. Satisfied that I spread the " seed " I backed

off... but I left them with this (the online group).

I told them that when I made the final decison, after all the

research, I prayed about it and asked myself " what would Jesus do? "

and the answer was resounding! There is just no way, that Jesus

would want me to poison His children.

I wanted to repeat that here (not that any of you need convincing)

because I totally and honestly beleive that that is the ultimate

answer. I am doing what God wants me to do and through that, I will

be protected.

Unfortunately, my best friend (who I speak about often) is not

religious so this statement means little to her. Sigh. But I

wanted to share it with ya'll anyway, maybe it will help at some

point in your daily lives, with some situation. :)

Good point - and you can tell just about anyone that if God intended

us to injest mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde, etc that He would not

have made these things POISONOUS to our bodies!
