Laurette,

I would like to know how many cases of autism that her doctor has

diagnosed where the child was one or under the age of one year of age.

Most cases that I know of, or have read about weren't diagnosed until

the child was around three. The earliest cases that I have heard of

are around 18-24 months old (for regressive autism). I think she is

just buying into his proganda.

The only cases that I know of where the child would be diagnosed by

the age of one, would be if the mother had dental amalgams, she had a

rhogam shot while pregnant or if autism runs in the family. Then, any

vaccine would further aggravate the situtation and push the child

further into mercury poisoning, as well as any environmental toxins

that they may be exposed to.

I feel your frustration and know it well. There are only a few women

in my life that don't vaccinate their children. Most of my friends

think I have a point, but it couldn't happen to their kids. So, they

play russian roulette with their children's health. This is what your

friend is doing.

One way to open her eyes is to give her books on the dangers of

vaccination that are written by doctors. Because I am tired of the

" somebody believes everything that they read on the internet "

response, I have started doing that. Then, she can choose to believe

her doctor or she can decide to investigate for herself. But, nobody

wants somebody else telling them how to raise their kids. So, I

wouldn't push her or else you will probably alienate her.

If you would like a list of books, email me and I'll be happy to email

you a list.

Good luck!

I have a very good friend who didn't vaccinate her kids. I thought

she was nuts, absolutely crazy UNTIL, my son reacted to his vaccines.

He had bouts of non febrile seizures involving one side of his body

at a time, the hours of screaming, and after the third time(yes, I

know, why did it take me 3 times to figure this out??)he had a major

personality shift, and set backs in his " milestones " He was hitting

them all early, and then regressed some. My friend and I finally had

a conversation about it. I don't know how she kept from strangling

me. She asked me, very gently, if I thought there might be a

connection between the vaccines and his seizures. I had thought of

that, but had it dismissed and even was told it was NORMAL and not

uncommon by the docs. ANyway, I decided to do some research before

I'd let them do any more vaccines. That was about 5 years ago, and

he has had no more, and his younger sister hasn't had any. I consider

myself and my son very lucky that she felt okay with saying something

to me, even tho we were one opposite sides of the vaccine issue. I

regret that I wasn't strong enough to listen to my instincts and stop

the vaxing sooner, but I really feel that my son would've been

severely damaged instead of the relatively minor stuff he had/has as

a result of what we allowed to be injected into him if we had allowed

another round of vaccines..

I posted this hoping you would see that it's not always hopeless. Some

of us do eventually wrap our heads around the fact that vaccines are

dangerous. My friend had to have practically bitten her tongue off at

least a few times, but she did that instead of pressuring me. If

she'd kept at me instead of backing off, I really don't know how I

would've reacted, and what our situation would be now.
