none at all as there is even more crap in formula! all these

headlines never bother to say what you can find in formula.

None, They are insignificant when weighed against the positive outcome of

breastfeeding. This argument has been around the block so many times but

everyone who uses it conveniently forgets to mention that artificial feeding

gives a baby a whole lot more PCBs and dioxins than they would ever get from

breast milk. I personally would query her statistics as well, especially

this business of babies reaching some sort of threshhold of toxins by six

months. Sounds like a formula marketing ploy...

Unfortunately for me, if my baby doesn't get it in my milk, he will

get it in the air we breathe, just as my other two kids, myself, my

husband and everyone else here in NYC do. And it's not just here,

this toxin is everywhere.

Our best line of defense is our immune system. That's why it's so

important for me to pay attention to what I consume, treat my body

like the temple that it is, and ensure that it is in proper working

order so that all kinds of evils such as this can be fought

effectively. Of course, we also someday hope to leave NYC and live

elsewhere.... not that I can really escape it, but in the more rural

areas of the country there are less toxins in the air, and less of

this crazy pesticide mosquito spraying every darn summer!

My friends daughter (the one that won't listen to me about vaxing)

got a mosquito bite (because the spray works so well you see), two

days later she felt a little " warm " and now my friend is panic

stricken that the kid has west nile virus! So what does she do? She

goes out and buys bug spray and sprays the kid down with deet!

Ugh! It's like we're living in bizarre-o world! She just makes me

want to scream!
